Katie Bullon is an award-winning marketing professional with 20 years experience spanning corporate marketing, freelancing, franchise ownership, and now as
Franchisor/CEO of activ Marketing Franchise. In 2021, with three children—including a 12-month-old baby—she saved activ from liquidation, going overnight from 50 in her territory
to 1,000 clients.

Under her leadership, activ became the only BFA-approved marketing franchise of its kind. Katie is Chair of the Wales Region EWIF (Encouraging Women Into Franchising) and a
columnist for the British Franchise Association magazine. Known for her direct, passionate approach, Katie doesn’t sugar-coat things—she tells it like it is. She’s dedicated to
helping entrepreneurs succeed, providing practical, no-nonsense advice that gets results. Whether speaking at events, mentoring business owners, or supporting the franchise industry, Katie’s mission is clear: to support and empower others to build thriving businesses.
