Cheryl Thornley LLB (Hons), PGDL, FCILEx, Barrister (unregistered), Chartered Legal Executive.

A former police officer for 20 years, Cheryl studied Law at the University of Buckingham and went on to study her Bar exams in London and gain her academic qualifications as Barrister. Cheryl is also qualified and registered as a Chartered Legal Executive and specialises in family law, notably being nominated as a national finalist as an expert in her field.

Cheryl founded Puzzle Piece Law during the Covid-19 pandemic in response to the increasingly need for affordable legal services across the family law sector. Puzzle Piece Law specialise in advising and supporting people representing themselves through family court and provides a low cost alternative to conventional high street solicitors. In 2024 Puzzle Piece Law expanded their services throughout England and Wales successfully launching their franchise network of family law advisors in an innovative approach to providing legal services.
