ComputerXplorers franchisees celebrate a year of success and growth in 2024
At the ComputerXplorers Annual Conference 2024, franchisees came together to celebrate what has been another exciting and successful year for the children’s computing education franchise.
Growth was the theme of the day – both when recapping and looking to the future.
Since 2021 when Stuart Harley took over as Franchisor, every month – bar just one! – has been a record month for the brand with an increase in the number of children attending classes on that month from the previous year. The franchisee network has grown to 34 – surpassing the 25 franchisees target set for the year and our franchisees now achieve a competitive average turnover of £75,000.
Supporting this growing network, the head office team has also grown to accommodate the increasing demands of a growing brand and to maintain the high standard of innovation and engagement within the franchise. Marketing output has markedly increased, alongside a refresh of many marketing materials and resources, leading to a notable increase in brand identity and strength.
The network has seen a 380% growth in revenue since 2021, with 62% net profits, a 93% franchisee satisfaction rate and a Trustist customer satisfaction score of 4.9/5.
In further reputation building work, this week ComputerXplorers was named as a Finalist in the Trailblazer category at the British Franchise Association (BFA) HSBC UK British Franchise Awards 2024. The category celebrates innovative businesses taking a leap in a new direction and achieving positive change for their brands while leading the way in their business sectors and franchising.
Earlier this year, the brand was also shortlisted for the Franchise of the Year category in the ClubHub Awards 2024.
Alongside these successes, the reputation of ComputerXplorers has grown both within the franchise sector and in wider business sectors. With this has come the opportunity to welcome new partnerships with organisations, bringing new and innovative technologies to our classes and operational efficiencies to our franchisee network.
Online booking system, Pebble, is one such example, which ComputerXplorers has recently partnered with to transform the efficiency and simplicity of its class bookings for franchisees and customers alike.
Increasing brand authority has also opened new ways to promote ComputerXplorers and bring our offering to new audiences, including speaking opportunities and events.
Looking to 2025, we aim to continue this growth with a focus on personalised experiences, building on brand authority, quality content and resources, franchisee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
The conference, sponsored by Sphero, Elevate Accountancy, Xero and ProfitKeeper, has been a great opportunity to reflect on these accomplishments and discuss learnings and future plans.
We thank all our schools and children for their continued involvement in ComputerXplorers, our franchisees for their hard work and dedication and our partners for their continued engagement with us and look forward to seeing what 2025 brings!
