Experienced franchise lawyer Jonathan Chadd of Leathes Prior Solicitors will outline the legal issues to be considered when expanding through franchising internationally. This seminar will be of interest to UK business owners looking to expand their networks overseas, international brands expanding into the UK and also to companies or individuals considering the acquisition of master franchise rights from an overseas franchisor. The seminar will consider the initial steps to be taken, explain the importance of brand protection, review the differing requirements as to disclosure, and identify the alternative legal structures and the scope of legal documentation that may be required.
